| Activities - Exercise & Fitness |

A variety of services and seminars are
provided to assist in maintaining a healthy body and attitude. Blood pressure checks are
available every Monday, with hearing, vision, and other health related seminars offered
periodically. Flu immunization and CPR classes are also available for the convenience of
residents.
| Exercise Room |
Pumping iron, jogging
on the treadmill or tackling the universal gym in an effort to maintain good health and
wellness is an excellent way to start your day. Our well-equipped Exercise Room offers
four commercial treadmills, recumbent and aerodyne bikes, a transport machine, a universal
gym and free weights. The Exercise Room is open 24 hours daily with a licensed personal
trainer available for consultation by appointment. |
| Yoga |
Stretch those bodies, be stronger, more flexible and leave that
stress behind. Yoga is for everyone. Meet other "fitness freaks" early each
morning Monday through Friday. |
| Stretch & Tone |
The only way to build flexibility is to stretch. Stretching
reduces muscle tension and makes you feel relaxed. By increasing your range-of-motion, it
gets you ready for whatever comes along. Bring a mat or towel daily to get fit! |

Pilates |
Reach physical
and mental health while sculpting your body slim with this hot
new fitness program. |
| Hiking |
Hardy hikers hasten to the hallowed habitats that abound in our
area. Wear "willing" shoes and follow great guides as they lead you up and down,
in and out and around and about some of Arizona's most spectacular scenery. Hiking
adventures are posted in the weekly Venture Out-Lines. |
| Desert Walkers |
Leave Monday mornings to walk at various locations in the
Valley (i.e. Superstition Wilderness Area.) Move at a leisurely pace, notice the flora and
vistas around you! Most hikes are 3-4 miles round trip. |
| Water Workout |
Water Workouts: Lap swimming; Water Exercise; Water Walking are
the regimens that promote flexibility, agility, cardiovascular health, endurance plus
slimming/weight reduction. Individual or group workouts are available. |
| Aerobics |
Aerobics: Our instructor is a dynamo! With a positive outlook
on life and health, she puts students through their stuff weekday mornings. |
