Social Board

Meet Our Social Board

The Social Board is a nine member Board, incorporated in 1977 when the Developer was still in control of Venture Out. Venture Out desired a lot owner organization to establish recreational ventures in the community, while the developer was closing out the sales. When the homeowners formally acquired total control of the Condo Board in January of 1980, the Social Board was seen as an excellent avenue for guiding the many recreational clubs, allowing the Condo Board the much needed time to work on community governance. By splitting these duties, Venture Out has very effectively managed this large community and itsí recreational activities are given as much attention as the day to day community operations.

The funds raised each year by the various clubs and the Recreation Department go towards offsetting the cost of the Activity Office, the operation of the clubs while assisting with the maintenance and improvement of recreational facilities. The money raised helps keep the Condo fees lower by an average of $200 per lot annually.

The Social Board has an annual election in March whereas each year three members are elected for a three year term.
