Volunteering is an exciting, growing, enjoyable experience. It is truly gratifying to serve a cause, practice one's ideals, work with people of like interests, see benefits and know one had a hand in them. At Venture Out, almost everybody volunteers for one thing or another. It's what makes our resort so unique!

Handymen	Hammer and nail... ladder and pail... no membership fees... as volunteers, we be! Providing carpentry work for various areas of the resort, the handymen gladly donate their time and talents. To become a part of this viable group, stop by the Handymen Shop and we'll get you going in the right direction.
VO Angels	The program offers services such as rides to doctor appointments, church, and to the grocery store. They will also pick up mail, read and assist with small errands or other requests from their neighbors. Residents request assistance by filling out a form at the Activity Office Front Desk.
Audio/Visual Club	Responsible for operating and servicing all equipment used at functions sponsored by the Recreation Department. Members oversee the in-house television station (Channel 11). Experience with sophisticated, state-of-the-art electronics equipment is beneficial.
Others	Individuals and groups volunteer and assist as members of organizations that include: Lions Club; Mobile Nobles; Order of Eastern Star; PEO; etc.
