| Creative Writing |
Improve your writing skills using "Writing the Natural
Way" by Gabrielle Rico as text with "Elements of Style" by Strunk and White
as reference. Grab your pen, develop your style and pause now and then... when words make

"Hablo Espanol"? Sprechen da Deutsch"? If not,
register for Spanish or German classes taught by VO residents. A must for world travelers
and southwest dwellers alike, increase your awareness of other cultures through Language

| AARP Driver Safety Program |
“55 Alive,” The AARP Safety Program, enables most
participants to receive a discount in auto insurance premiums for three years. The class
focuses on defensive driving techniques with special attention given to changes
which occur as we mature and age as drivers. |
| Solos |
We have one of the largest and liveliest solo groups in the
Valley. The only requirements are that you are SINGLE, 55 years or older and live at
Venture Out. Our special interests include a social hour every Thursday at the Oasis,
holiday parties, group travel, golf, Cabaret dances, and participation in several Social
Club activities. |
| RV Club |
A group of travelers and campers who get together and discover
new and exciting spots of interest, while traveling in our beautiful Southwest. The
spectacular scenery is guaranteed to satisfy the most voracious appetite. Follow the
yellow brick road or hit the dusty trail, share wit and wisdom “round the ol’
campfire.” exchange stories or just go along for the ride. Gives you the chance to
heed the “call of the wild”! |
